Some of the best Scuba Diving in the world is located close to Koh Samui. The Gulf of Thailand offers clear, warm water, with an abundance of marine and plant life. Diving here will be a memorable experience. There are many different dive shops, offering a variety of packages, from beginners’ lessons, intermediate dives, advanced dives, night dives and rescue dives. A relatively new addition to the island is a hyperbaric chamber. Located on the north coast this chamber is a welcome addition to the dive scene on Koh Samui. You can get daily dive trips to all main dive sites in the Samui Archipelago. Travel to dive sites in comfort on speedboats equipped with tank racks, spacious sun deck, wide open entrances, fresh water shower and toilet. Most dive companies aim to keep your comfort a priority by limiting the number of passengers on board. If you don’t Dive, Don’t Worry, Snorkel can join in the fun too. Never snorkeled before? No problem, all the dive operators will give you some quick tips and you will be surprised how fast you can enjoy the beauty of the underwater world. (source: kohsamui.com)
