About the 'identify marine life' window
The ‘identify marine life’ window contains one characteristic image per animal. However when an animal looks completely different in one of its life phases or gender, I have also included those. All the images have tags assigned to them which describe the characteristics per animal. The tags are shown in the filter window on the right.
The common and Latin name will appear when you hold your cursor over an image.
Click in any part of the image to access the associated photo gallery of the animal.
In the top of the ‘Identify Marine Life’ window you can see how many images are in your selection.
The images are first sorted by species and then by Latin name.
The images are divided over more pages when the selection holds more then 21 images. You can browse the selection using the page index in the lower part of the window.
